Long before there was a Monty Network, there was Monty — a nickname carried from Army days in the 1970s and 80s.
Years later the name was passed to a black-and-white Shih Tzu who became far more than a family dog. Monty became the familiar face connecting photography, travel, music and the growing collection of projects that now make up the Network.
What began with a nickname, a camera and curiosity gradually became something much larger.
