About Monty Network.
One man, a Shih Tzu called Monty, and a lifelong habit of asking how things work.
The story
I was born in the UK and served in the British Army, where I picked up the nickname Monty. After the army I worked as a DJ, then travelled, and music and photography have stayed with me ever since.
I've been designing websites since the early 1990s. In 2021 my wife and I moved to Poland, photography became my new passion, and one site became several. Monty Network is what grew from that: a way of connecting everything I make, and running it myself.
Why Monty?
Years later I named my black-and-white Shih Tzu Monty, as a nod to those army days. He became the face of the brand, and he's the reason very different projects share one home.

How I work
Independently. Everything here is designed, built and run by me, with GitHub as the single source of truth and AI assistants as part of the toolkit. No company and no investors, just curiosity that doesn't retire.
